Clinical FAQ
What a peptide is, who decides your dose, and the one condition that earns Tier 1 pricing. If an answer here disagrees with something you read elsewhere on the site, this page is the one we hold ourselves to.
Peptides
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids — the same building blocks your body already uses to signal repair, metabolism and recovery. Therapeutic peptides are made to match or mimic those signals closely enough that the body reads them as its own.
Every peptide we dispense is US sourced and US manufactured, compounded in a licensed pharmacy and released against an independent batch test. Certificates of analysis cover identity, purity and endotoxin, and we hold the supply chain rather than buying through brokers.
Some are FDA-approved medications prescribed for their labeled use. Others are compounded preparations prescribed by a licensed physician for a specific patient. Nothing on this site is sold as a supplement, and nothing is dispensed without a prescription.
Yes. A Mino physician reviews your intake before anything is written, and the GLP2-T line is prescription-only — it cannot be bought directly from the dispensary. Peptide fills are released only after that review.
A pen is pre-measured and easier to travel with; a vial costs less per milligram and suits protocols that change dose over time. The milligram figure on every product is the total in one pen or vial, not the dose per injection.
Combinations are common and often the point of a protocol, but they are a physician decision. Bring your current medications, supplements and any GLP therapy to your visit so overlap and timing are set deliberately rather than stacked by guesswork.
Dosing
Your physician does, in writing, based on your intake, labs where relevant, weight, history and goals. We publish no dosing charts, because a chart cannot see your chart.
Most protocols run in cycles — a loading stretch, a maintenance stretch, then a review. Signature members are reviewed quarterly, which is when dose, pairing and cycle length are adjusted rather than left to drift.
Sleep, recovery and energy tend to move first, often in the first few weeks. Body composition, skin and metabolic markers take longer and are better judged against labs and measurements than against a mirror.
Take the next scheduled dose as written and do not double up. If you have missed more than a week, message your physician before restarting — reintroduction is sometimes stepped rather than resumed at full dose.
Refrigerate reconstituted peptides, keep them out of light, and use the beyond-use date on the label rather than the shipping date. Each order ships cold with handling instructions specific to that preparation.
Injection-site irritation, transient flushing, appetite change and GI upset are the usual reports, and most settle. Anything severe, persistent or unexpected is a call to your physician first and to us second — never a reason to self-adjust the dose.
Pricing rules
Tier 1 is the lowest price band we can dispense at — the wholesale-adjacent cost of a fill rather than listed retail. It is not a coupon and not a sale; it is a pricing tier attached to one membership under one condition.
Tier 1 comes with Signature, and only when the year is paid up front — $3,990 charged annually, which works out to $332.50 a month. Signature paid month to month is a full membership with quarterly physician visits, but fills are priced at listed retail.
Correct, and this is the line people most often get wrong. Tier 1 follows the annual-upfront payment, not the Signature name. Change to monthly billing and your fills return to listed retail from that point forward.
Paid annually, Essential takes 10% off retail and Plus takes 20%. Paid monthly, both pay listed retail. The discount is the reward for the annual commitment, at every tier.
Only inside the programs your tier clears. Essential clears GLP, so an Essential member paid annually sees 10% on GLP2-T and listed retail on other peptides. Plus and Signature clear both GLP and peptide protocols.
Clearance and physician time, your pricing tier, and your Mino Rx card. Fills are billed separately when you order them, at whatever price your tier and billing cycle have earned.
The price shown at checkout is the price charged, and it is calculated from the membership actually on your account at that moment. When you preview another tier in the collection, the tile states what you pay so the two numbers are never confused.
