The science
Physician-led. Evidence-backed.
Every Mino protocol is grounded in peer-reviewed research and supervised by licensed physicians. We do not offer wellness trends — we offer clinical precision.
Our methodology
The Mino standard
Mino applies a four-stage clinical framework to every protocol: literature review, physician assessment, compounding oversight, and outcome monitoring. Nothing reaches a patient without passing all four.
Literature review
Every peptide in our catalogue is supported by peer-reviewed publications. We review mechanism-of-action studies, safety profiles, and clinical trial data before a compound is considered.
Physician assessment
A licensed physician reviews each patient's health history, goals, and contraindications before any protocol is prescribed. There are no automated recommendations without clinical oversight.
Compounding oversight
All compounds are prepared by 503A-licensed, USP 797-compliant compounding pharmacies. Sterility, potency, and purity are verified by independent third-party testing.
Outcome monitoring
Patients are followed throughout their protocol. Physicians review progress, adjust dosing, and document outcomes — contributing to our growing internal evidence base.
Clinical team
The physicians behind Mino
Board-certified Internal Medicine · Stanford School of Medicine · 14 years clinical practice
Dr. Sarah Chen, MD
Medical Director
Focus: Metabolic optimisation, longevity medicine, peptide therapeutics
Dr. Chen leads Mino's clinical programme and oversees all protocol development. Her research background in cellular metabolism informs the company's approach to NAD+ and mitochondrial support therapies.
Board-certified Endocrinology · Johns Hopkins · PhD Molecular Biology
Dr. James Okafor, MD, PhD
Director of Research
Focus: Peptide pharmacology, immune modulation, regenerative medicine
Dr. Okafor brings a dual clinical and research perspective to Mino's science team. His doctoral work on peptide receptor signalling directly informs the company's immune and recovery protocols.
Board-certified Dermatology · UCLA · Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine
Dr. Elena Reyes, MD
Clinical Advisor
Focus: Skin peptides, collagen synthesis, aesthetic protocols
Dr. Reyes oversees Mino's dermatological and aesthetic protocols, including the GLOW and KPV programmes. Her clinical practice focuses on evidence-based approaches to skin health and cellular repair.

Compliance & safety
Regulatory framework
503A & USP 797 compounding
All compounds are prepared by 503A-licensed, USP 797-compliant compounding pharmacies, held to strict sterility and quality standards with independent oversight.
Physician oversight
Every protocol requires a valid prescription from a licensed physician. Mino does not dispense compounds without a physician-patient relationship and documented clinical assessment.
Third-party testing
Independent certificate of analysis (COA) testing verifies sterility, potency, and the absence of contaminants for every batch. COAs are available to patients upon request.
Privacy & data
All patient health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA. Medical records, lab results, and consultation notes are encrypted and never shared with third parties.
